Meet the friendly staff at Penn South Pet Clinic!

  • Dr.
    Keith Rammage
    Dr. Keith Rammage grew up in Seminole, OK with parents that instilled in he and his brother good work ethic and Christian values. He graduated from OSUCVM in 1993 and worked in Norman, Oklahoma for one year before becoming the sole practitioner at Penn South Pet Clinic. In 2000, Dr. Rammage became the owner of Penn South. He married his wife Sharon in 2001, and they have two children: Kathryn and Joshua. They try to explore as many state and national parks as they can but are content to stay home with their dogs, Cassie and River, and their cats, Scooter, Sky, and Tiger. Dr. Rammage and his family are actively involved at Southern Hills Baptist Church as well as their children’s education and activities.

  • Dr.
    Ashlee Cochran

    Dr. Ashlee Cochran is a Kansas native who graduated from KSUCVM in 2015 and soon after became a resident of Oklahoma. Dr. Cochran greatly enjoys small animal medicine and the opportunity to serve a community through her close interactions with our clients and their pets.  In their spare time, Dr. Cochran and her husband enjoy visiting with family/friends, attending dirt track races, and playing with their Labrador retriever, “Sage”.

  • Dr. Carey Bachman

    Dr. Carey Bachman has been with Penn South Pet Clinic since 2010. She received a Bachelors degree in zoology from the University of Oklahoma in 2006 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2010. Dr. Bachman enjoys ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. When not in the clinic, you will probably find her enjoying the outdoors, reading, cooking, or spending time with her kids (both 2-legged and 4-legged). Her pets include 3 dogs, 2 cats, 4 horses, and 11 fish.

  • Jackie Taylor
    Practice Manager
    Jackie Taylor has been with Penn South since October 1998. Her present position is clinic manager. Her passion for animals spans several years of rescuing and fostering. Jackie currently has 3 dogs and 1 cat at home and she also claims 2 cats and 1 cockatiel at work. When she is not busy with her furry friends, Jackie enjoys mission work in Uganda, cleaning and organizing people’s stuff.
  • Mallory Sutherlin
    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Mallory joined PSPC June 2016. She completed the veterinary technology program and graduated from OSU-OKC in May 2016, becoming a registered technician. She has a love and passion for animals. She and her husband, Michael enjoy spending their small amount of free time home with their dogs Benji, Buster, Luna, Emma, and Phoebe. They also have geckos, Stella and Harley, and a ball python named Mia. When she is not at work or at home with her fur family, she is teaching colorguard at Westmoore High School.

  • Angela Smith
    Veterinary Assistant
    Angela has been with us since June 2013. In May 2017, she earned her Associates in Science at OSU-OKC and plans on continuing her education in Stillwater. When not at the clinic, Angela enjoys learning new crafts, as well as cuddle time with her dog Laika. She has recently taken up metalworking and has started a small garden in her home.

  • Mae Shephard
    Mae has been with us since early 2017. When not at Penn South, she enjoys reading, horseback riding, and crafts. She is very involved in her children’s sports. Her family consists of her husband Keith, son Wyatt, daughter Bella, and their pets, Meadow, Carmella, and Cleo, and Bob.

  • Stacy Buckman
    Kennel Technician
    Stacy hails from Attleboro, Massachusetts and joined our clinic family in September 2017. She enjoys bowling and weightlifting, as well as spending time with her furry family, Jordan, Pearl, and Gimli.

  • Handsome
    Handsome is our resident greeter. You may find him napping on the counter, the credit card machine, or the window sill. He loves socializing with our clients, especially when they bring puppies for him to kiss!
  • Buddy
    Buddy has been at Penn South since 2007. He prefers to spend his time hiding in cabinets. If the clinic is quiet you may see him lounging around, but don’t try to pet him or he will disappear!
  • Hazel
    Hazel is the newest addition to the Penn South family. She can often be seen running around the clinic, getting into trouble.
